A time may come when you have to move to a different area because you want a fresh start. You want to leave the life you built in your current home because it may be time to move on or have bad memories that you need to forget. Out of the many cities or countrysides in the United States, you may want to set your eyes on Lake Tahoe.
Not too many people know about it, but Lake Tahoe is 2/3 the state of California and 1/3 in Nevada. It means you can tell your friends and family that you live between California and Nevada all at once. If Lake Tahoe’s a new place for you to live in and you don’t know what’ll happen when you live there, it would be best to know the benefits that you can get from moving there.
Benefit #1: Amazing Scenery
One reason to pack your bags and settle around Tahoe Lake is you get the chance to look at some of the best views mother nature has to offer. It’s a popular tourist destination because of Lake Tahoe’s east shore with crystal blue water and small rock formations for that added touch.
And if you want to go on an adventure, make sure you check out Chimney Beach. If you have an aerial drone, you can use it to take pictures of the beach, and you will see pine trees along the shoreline. It won’t be too difficult to smile at yourself every morning when you get to see a view as beautiful as Tahoe Lake.
Benefit #2: Endless Photographs
When you have a great view, it’s no surprise that you want to take tons of pictures because you want to remember them. It’s also an excellent way to show some of your friends or family members back home the life you’re living every day. There are granite peaks, turquoise beaches, and towering forests that can turn into well-made pictures with a bit of editing.
In some cases, settlers find or build their homes beside breathtaking views because there’s nothing more amazing than waking up to a beautiful view. And when you get lucky, you might catch some wildlife walking around the forest, so you have to keep your camera with you always. Living in Lake Tahoe is every social media enthusiast’s dream because of the many different and captivating photos they can get every day.
And if you want to further share your photos with the world, South Lake Tahoe has a growing local art scene where different artists show off their creations. The community widely accepts photographers who want to catch the real essence of living in Lake Tahoe. You can mingle with other photographers and share wisdom, ensuring you feel right at home.
Benefit #3: Excellent Seasons and Weather
If you’re always working at home, you should never miss out on Lake Tahoe’s ever-changing weather. Residents say that the place gets at least 300 days of sunshine each year, and the temperature is usually dry and temperate. During the summers, you won’t experience too much humidity, which is great if you’re not a big fan of muggy weather.
Besides the 300 days of sunshine each year, the place also experiences four seasons. You get to see fall, winter, spring, and summer. It’s also the reason some commercial buildings install fire-rated ceiling access doors because it not only protects the building from fires but it’s also sturdy against all weather types and can last for years.
Benefit #4: Tons of Outdoor Activities
Lake Tahoe doesn’t lack any outdoor activities, if that’s what you’re thinking. You can find many exciting and fun activities to do, whether by yourself or with other people. One fun outdoor activity that many people love doing in Lake Tahoe is paddle boarding at Sand Harbor Beach. The water looks so blue and clear that you can see the white sand sitting beneath it.
If you’re not fond of hitting the beach, maybe you can take a nice hiking trip at Emerald Bay. Climbing to the top may wear you out, but the view you get once you reach the top is worth it. You can take a couple of Instagram photos while you’re catching your breath and preparing to either descend or continue exploring the Emerald Bay.
And if you want another alternative besides paddle boarding, you can go clear bottom kayaking. You don’t have to stand up, and you get a clear view of what’s underneath your kayak. You can see all of the fishes swimming underneath your kayak, which makes for excellent viewing pleasure.
Benefit #5: Eye-Catching Beaches
If you haven’t noticed yet, Lake Tahoe has different beaches surrounding everyone living within the area. Besides taking a nice dip on the water or getting a tan, the beach is the perfect place to have fun and unwind after a hard day of working or studying. Some great examples of beaches to go to are Whale Beach and Sand Harbor Beach.
Don’t forget to ask the residents about what other fun things you can do in Lake Tahoe. The place has fun and exciting things to do once you move into the area.
