More than half of younger workers say benefits are top priority when job hunting, report finds
According to new research, 42% of UK employees said work benefits were a priority when searching for a job. But which perks are the most sought-after in 2024?
To discover which perks are the most desired by full-time employees, The Electric Car Scheme surveyed over 1,000 UK employees to understand which general and ‘green’ benefits are most important to them in 2024.

Key findings include:
Overtime pay is the most desired benefit at work, with 46% of employees in the UK saying they would value this.
Crypto payments are the least sought employee benefit, with only 6% of respondents valuing this as a perk.
When asked which green employee benefits they would most desire, 45% of employees said free EV charging.
