Coral Rickard, Content & Social Media Manager at Champneys, comments:
“Self-care and wellness can come in all shapes and sizes. This is evident in the rise of TikTok trends promoting and encouraging people to take part in activities and challenges that improve their physical and mental wellbeing. It’s great to see this increase in awareness in looking after yourself, even if it’s spending time doing a viral TikTok dance, learning new and exciting ways to eat healthier or gaining advice on how to elevate your skincare routine for a daily pamper ritual – with some of these trends reaching up to a staggering 6.5 billion views.
“Platforms that encourage wellness, such as TikTok, have played an important role over the past year in helping people discover what self-care looks like for them. Now that spas, salons and gyms have opened their doors once more, we look forward to seeing how people continue to prioritise their wellbeing through self-care.”
