The fintech industry is predicted to be valued at over £277 million by 2027 – but which are the biggest and best fintech companies in 2021?
New research from Utility Bidder analysed a number of different factors to find out which of the current fintech companies are the most influential when it comes to measures such as valuation, funding, social following, and online visibility.
The analysis found that Robinhood is the most influential fintech company of 2021, with the trading and investment app scoring 7.22 out of 10 in our fintech influence ranking.
Top 10 Most Influential Fintech Companies
The analysis showed that stock trading and investment app Robinhood is the most influential company in the fintech sphere, with it scoring 7.22 out of 10 in our index. This is largely due to it being the most searched-for fintech on our list, with over 28 million annual searches, but they’ve also raised the greatest VC funding with £5.1 billion.
The fintech company with the highest valuation is Stripe, an online payment service based in San Francisco. The company is currently valued at a whopping £69 billion; 43 times more than its funding of £1.6 billion.
