Confessions Of The Professions Is Retiring External Resources Pages
January 23, 2022 — For the past several years, we have been receiving links from many agencies sharing their resources, specifically dealing with Veterans, Disabilities, Seniors, Addiction, and Disease. We welcomed the opportunity of this new addition to the website and have been placing links manually for a variety of organizations who have sought to help so many people. As this website stands for providing useful information and resources to people, we are always open to receiving new links.
During the last year, however, we were looking for a way to improve and speed up this process and were in the process of coming up with a more permanent solution that allowed others to submit their own links through this website rather than just through email. After experimenting with several scripts, we found a very lovely and useful one for our website that allows for many categories and links to be placed. On our old resources page, we had many different pages, but there was still much confusion about where to place links. Rather than making our contributors guess, we now have listed them all on a single page resource center.
This new resource page is now known as the Link Library. It allows for more than just the sharing of resources which were originally limited to just veterans, seniors, disabilities, addictions, and diseases. While we were beginning to open up for more resources, we were still limited from our old method. The new Link Library will now allow us to increase website link sharing for dozens of new categories, such as business & startups, budgeting & finance, education, medicines, covid-19, health, teenagers & kids, etc.
While we still encourage you to share your articles with links back to your website, we encourage you to submit links directly to your useful resource websites. Your website will be submitted and moderated. Not all submissions may be accepted, but in order to submit a link, we do ask for your email in case we have questions or would like further collaboration. In addition, a reciprocal link is suggested, but not required. We hope you will check out and enjoy our massive Link Library on Confessions of the Professions.
