Have you ever caught yourself snapping at your Alexa device or yelling, “Speak to a representative!” on the phone to an automated AI representative?
We’ve all been there but a new Preply study shows some states admit to being less patient than others, and the same goes for different generations.
Key findings:
- People in New Mexico are nicest to AI and people in Connecticut are the rudest to it.
Gen Z is the least likely generation to be as nice to AI customer service as they are to human customer service.
- On average, the older people are, the nicer to AI they are.
Hourly AI users are 50% more likely to be impatient afterward with people they encounter over weekly AI users.
The main way people express frustration toward AI is by raising their voices, insults & belittling.
You can find local data and more on how Americans use AI here. If you have questions or can use this in coverage let me know, thanks!
