Road trip movies have always been special, as they create a special place in the hearts of the audience. The reason why road trip movies are cool, is because they show an actual journey on the silver screen, giving shape to the characters in the movie, the characters have an ark, which they reach at the end of the movie.
We, as an audience, try to imagine ourselves as the characters, we imagine ourselves going on a road trip with friends and family. Also what makes a movie road trips good? There is a checklist that needs to get ticked it includes incident, stress, bonding, humour and fun. We have narrowed down four movies that fit the bill, even though we aware that there are countless road trip movies.
