If you are doing daily exercise and still practicing these, then it is of no benefit
Losing weight and staying fit is a goal of many people, I guess almost every millennial wants to hit this goal. However simultaneously, this is a dream unachieved by many and in most cases people are not even aware why they are not able to become fit? Well, broadly, people do exercise but do not pay attention to other aspects which leads to their failure
Drinking water between & immediately after meals
Drinking water in general is proven to be good for health, digestion and contains several skin benefits too, however, drinking water between your meals is not as beneficial for you as much. Although there are many claims saying that drinking water develops many issues is the body, but simply drinking water in between your meals helps you digest food, which is not bad.
But if your food gets digested while consumption itself then you might feel hungry before the time slot of your next meal. And as we know, more food consumption leads to more weight gain which is considerably an unhealthy behavior. Therefore, drinking water half hour after your meal but exception is always there, you can have water if you get a food chunk stuck in your food pipe.
Though there is no research claiming that drinking water in between or just after meals is bad of health, however, there are few studies over its bad impact on people having Gastro-esophagael reflux disease which is a common condition. People with this condition are asked to avoid having liquids in between as its leads to an increased risk of acid reflux which worsens the condition of the patient.
Having a sedentary lifestyle
This phase of coronavirus has made us unwillingly comfortable in our own way, so much so, that now it would be difficult for us to head back to our respective routine lifestyles. What usually people do is, they exercise, practice running etc and then sit on a chair working straight for 6 to 8 hours, which is the normal office routine and then complaint that they are not losing weight.
A sedentary lifestyle will only contribute to your health issues, stomach fat and unhealthy behavior. Therefore, if you exercise early in the morning for an hour and then sit for the whole day, I personally suggest don’t exercise rather sleep for an hour extra because it is of no use.
Having too much stress & tension
Likewise other students, I was under extreme pressure and took a lot of stress during my 10th boards and obviously all students do. But however, this stress and tension is going to affect their health quite adversely. Due to the stress I had during my boards, I became very thin and weak and people used to tell me to eat properly and they used to share concerns about how this will affect me in a longer run. Therefore, if you wish to stay fit and healthy, you must not take stress as this is going to adversely affect to in a longer run, like me. Having too much stress and tension leads to unhealthy lifestyle and body.
Irregular health check-ups
An irregular health check-up results in not knowing for a person about what exactly one’s body is experiencing. You might be having some condition that you are unaware of and you might you be having foods that further worsens that condition due to which you are facing health, fitness and weight gain issues. Therefore, get your medical check-up done at least once is every 3 months.
Ignoring a right diet
If you are not maintaining a right amount and kind of food intake and you complaint about fitness, then you don’t have any right to even say that! Maintain your food consumption and what kind of food you consume which is the only reason why you are not able to achieve what you aim for even if you perform proper work-out schedule. Include fruits, green leafy vegetables, drinking water, in your daily diet, and then if you still have a problem about fitness and weight gain. Or if you are following the right diet and work-out schedule, then I suggest; consult a nutritionist or a doctor.
Eat fast and junk food a lot
Give me a break! This is me all the time, eating junk food and then complaining about not being able to bet fit and it might be you as well. But we have to understand this, YOU ARE NOTGOING TO BECOME HEALTH, AND LOSE WEIGHT BY EATING FAST FOOD! I am not even telling you to completely avoid but limit it to at least once a week. Having junk food only contributes to more pimples, more fat, more laziness and unhealthy body. Include more nutritious meals to your routine schedule.
Not having proper sleep routine
Even you may have experienced this but might not pay much attention to it; less sleep means you scroll your phone more which is not good for your physical and mental health both, simultaneously. Also, less sleep encourages more food intake as you begin feeling like eating to pass your time, even if you are not hungry. Therefore, try and manage your proper sleep routine as it can make you lazier in day time, make you eat more, and affect your healthy as well.
Hence, to conclude, if you want to stay healthy, slim active, pay attention on all the pointers rather than just focusing on exercising. Your eating habits have so much to do with your overall fitness and not just exercise. Include all these to your routine and then see how helpful it becomes.
