Survey: 61% of remote workers feel less pressure to be presentable
It’s been a year since the COVID-19 pandemic began – a year marked by routine disruption especially for those who have shifted towards remote work during the pandemic.
Advanced Dermatology recently surveyed 2,022 Americans to learn more about their daily routines and how their approach to remote work has impacted their daily lives.
Here’s what they found:
- 77% of respondents said they’ve noticed other people presenting themselves more casually during remote work.
- 61% say they feel less pressure to be presentable via remote work.
- When asked about morning routines, these are the top changes: 1. Less time on outfits 2. Less time on hair 3. Less time on make-up 4. Less shaving 5. Less showering.
- When asked how Americans are using their time not commuting, these are the top responses: 1. More sleep 2. More screen time 3. More chores 4. More work 5. More time on hobbies.
