Looking at the world today, no matter which country you visit, or where you go in the world, you will see Western influence. More specifically, you will see American influence. This type of influence has not come without repercussion and bloodshed. No matter how much you would like to think of how innocent America could have gotten to the entire world, the fact is: banks were implemented; corporate America was installed, and thus: American influence was put into the entire area. This is not always a bad thing, as it upgraded the world to become more “modernized” from a third-world country to a second-world and first-world country.
Many places in India, Indonesia, Malasyia, China, Russia, Phillipines, and everywhere else are now bombarded with the influence of McDonalds, KFC, Burger King, Subway, Nike, and more. Not only food, but every store imaginable from Western culture is ever-present in the malls and cities. If you have ever visited any country outside North America, whether it is in Europe, Africa, Asia, or even Russia, they all have this “old world” feeling that America could never really preserve. But when you think about the reality of how this happened, it was a part of the “American dream” that every country wanted, but it all came with certain consequences: the United States would have the greatest influence in the culture, and would become ingrained into societies that had never known it before.
As I get older and come to the understanding that I am a law-abiding citizen, working a mostly good routine job, and out of each of my paychecks comes taxes, I often wonder exactly where my tax dollars are going, and what they are being spent on. How many tax dollars remain at home and how many are going overseas. When we take a hard look at the ever-increasing national debt, I can’t help but wonder that it has always been the working American whose labor has been used to collect tax dollars in order to fund all of its operations. From having the largest military budget in the world to having just a small budget for other things, oddly enough, like education and healthcare. From the amount of money that is collected from each working citizen, to the amount of aid received by the United States, you would think that the 130 million American workers have contributed so much to their government that they are the ones technically responsible for the entire change in the world, by allowing the government to use freedom and liberation in the name of war.
When we look at the history of the United States, we will see one of the worst dramas of the world ever played out. Before the 1900s, the United States was still being established and had not been very involved in world affairs, as the Internet did not exist, and messages took time. If you were born in China, you likely would never meet anyone in America. If you were born in India, you probably never left. If you were born in Nigeria, and still to this day, you will most likely never actually leave the country. The United States has been involved in most of all of the world’s drama after World War II.
When we seriously look at all of the problems that the world faces today, it is not because we lack the resources to change the world for the better, fix healthcare, advance technology, and have everyone in the entire world not die of starvation, but afford them education too, but the leadership and governments of the world choose not to do anything about it, then we are a planet that can never leave Earth. In the 1960s, we had aspirations. To this day, we still send things into space for exploration, but without the next step in human advancement, nothing can change.
The next step in human advancement involves all countries working together by trusting each other. Unfortunately, the United States is so ingrained in the mighty dollar of greed that the world is unlikely to change. Consider the American influence on the entire world: the world is the way it is because of the United States. There are definitely pros and cons to this, but it all happened for the wrong reasons. What we call America was built on greed and hate, from the slaughter of the Native America, to the slavery of the African, and this has never left the American mind.
The American dream became that everyone could have a house, a family, a white picket fence, one, two, or even three children. Having children seems to be something everyone makes happen. It was what everyone wanted including those in other countries. Is third-world even the term to use anymore? None of the countries I have listed seem like they are third-world, even from the limited visitations I had. Although we have to say that everyone outside of the America isn’t really dreaming of the American dream, but they certainly don’t mind certain aspects of it.
Not all have that same dream though. I don’t have children myself, but I also look at my own finances, as I struggle to pay my rent, afford food, have enough for tickets to go on vacation, or pay other bills, and come to the conclusion that if I were to have a child, that child would actually get more than I ever was able to afford. And thus, as a non-parent with no children, I often wonder: why the hell would I have a child whose only going to “become my reason for living”? I don’t want that to happen. My reason for living would be for myself or for the woman I was absolutely in love with and infatuated with. Totally get that once you have a baby, your life changes and you now must be living and working for that offspring you brought into the world. Most people follow suit and take care of it. Some give it up for adoption while others do things that would be considered worse. However, having the option not to rush into having a child is definitely something that makes you appreciate your life more.
Getting back to the greed and hate for which America was built upon, and the racism and discrimation that follow suit with it, it often seems that is the foundation for what it leading the world right now. Corruption. Greed. Corporations. Modern slavery. Sex slavery. It is all very apparent. The murder of Jeffrey Epstein revealed a lot and I say murder because he did not kill himself. Maybe Epstein is not even dead at all. Epstein had a black book for which he kept many names of clients, including Bill Clinton, Alec Baldwin, Ralph Fiennes, Griffin Dunne, New York Post gossip Richard Johnson, Ted Kennedy, David Koch, filmmaker Andrew Jarecki, and many more. Epstein’s mansion was a trove of hidden cameras used to blackmail clients into “investing” into his funds. What type of guy do you think Epstein was?
If he could easily make arrangements with girls for sex with rich political leaders, then why would he not have everything possibly available to be able to blackmail his clients into either returning for more or providing him with an ever-flowing cash river. If you really look at the situation, Epstein was pure genius. Literally coming off as a great all around guy who can be your friend and get you anything you want in regards to sex, but it all came at a price far greater than any politicians or rich leader could ever afford to lose: his or her reputation. If you really think about what Epstein did, he was an asshole by all accounts, but a smart asshole. It would only make sense for him to keep troves of evidence locked up somewhere. Yet, we hear nothing about it. Why? Because the scheme goes deeper and touches on many rich and powerful leaders in the world.
The world changed the day women had enough. The #MeToo movement certainly helped and shed light on just how far the reaches of pedophilia and sexual prowess were, deeply rooted in Hollywood, rampant among many businesses, all the way into government. We can safely say that the blame is solely on the men that did it in the first place, however, we can also blame women, for remaining silent, and allowing it to happen. For the most part, it happened because money talks, and there are many men and women who will do anything for fame and fortune, even if it means agreeing to acts of a sexual nature. It will certainly be women who change the world, and hopefully for the better, but the light that this it is shedding on the rich and powerful and famous shows just how much power they have always had.
Now we come back to the question of why Americans allow Congress and the American government to operate in a way that is destroying the world. Literally, the Middle East is far from any type of peace and we are the ones responsible for making sure that peace could never be possible. And if we’re not, nearly half of all Americans voted for their white Queen who seemed to do no wrong, yet was as murderous and tyrannical as any leader could be under the guise of a political leader in Congress for over 30 years. All paid for by the American taxpayer. Fully funded. The American taxpayer takes care of everyone, but when it comes to the American taxpayer, no one really cares. One day, the American taxpayers may eventually have enough of it and will stop their “flow of cash” to supporting the government, which will stop the flow of cash to the world, and then maybe, just maybe, the world will finally that the American taxpayer is responsible for changing the world. Maybe for the better, maybe for the worse, but unfortunately, we’ve all got blood on our hands, and the entire world is responsible for allowing the American influence to happen. Fortunately or unfortunately, there is no undo button, and American influence will remain forever.
