New research can today reveal that the UK is the 2nd most successful crypto country in the world, with estimated crypto gains up 431% last year.A new global study from CoinJournal reveals the countries that have had the most success in the cryptocurrency industry looking at factors including the number of owners, crypto gains and number of companies and start-ups.The top 10 most successful crypto countries in 2022:

The UK currently has 886 active crypto startups companies, as well as the highest gains in cryptocurrency behind the US, of $8.16 billion. The UK currently has 617 cryptocurrency companies operating in the country and over 6% of the population now own crypto. Key findings:
Vietnam has the most crypto owners as a % of the population at a whopping 20%. The USA has the most overall owners of cryptocurrencies with over 46 million active traders.
Countries saw a considerable increase in crypto gains last year with the US experiencing a 476% increase in gains while the UK and Germany had increases of 431% and 423% respectively.
The USA has the most crypto companies at over 4,600, however, the tiny island of Singapore comes in 2nd with 643.
Estonia has the 3rd most crypto startups in the world, behind the US and UK, with 406.
