Today I am wearing grey, on grey, on grey, on grey, with a fancy orange scarf.
It is my ode to Corporate America.
I like your decor here, Corporate America.
The grey inspires me.
It reminds me to make my own happiness.
And that the world is more than the bleakness here.
We are artists, who create happiness out of sadness and in the midst of the bleak days.
Some choose to not participate, or even wallow in their bleakness.
I chose to not be weighed down by it, but learn how to embrace it, and and roll with it.
I sometimes wonder if it will overtake me.
I feel weighed down by the grey. Like it will consume my very being.
My legs hurt, my head is heavy, my shoulders are like bowling balls.
It is a sea of nothingness at times with no way through.
Thank goodness for orange. It always wins.
