Research stated in this article reveals that overall Americans are getting less sleep. In fact, since 1985 the number of people that sleep for less than six hours a night has increased by over 31 percent.
Getting less than the CDC recommended amount of sleep per night can adversely affect your quality of life. One study revealed in this post suggests that not getting enough sleep can lead to obesity. While another study revealed that adults who sleep less than eight hours a night are more likely to report feelings of anger, irritability, and fatigue.
