This then made us think, “I wonder what other crazy facts that are out there about cars that we don’t know?” We then took it upon ourselves to make this our next mission, so we scoured the internet and found 15 of the craziest and most astonishing facts out there. We created this infographic to give you answers to questions like; what does Dominoes and Volkswagen have in common? How is that New Car smell made and how many cars are out there right now? Take a look at some of the things we have found, warning they may leave you scratching your head.
The very first car ever built was in 1885 and a German inventor called Karl Benz goes down in history as the main contributor to this, although there were several other German inventors working that year on cars of their own. A lot has changed since then, but over the years many weird and wonderful things have happened with cars that are both fascinating and surprising. Sometimes we can take for granted just how incredible a car is, for example, did you know that on average a car has 30,000 parts and that the current fastest car in the world is the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, claiming a top speed of 273 miles per hour!
