Pornography Around The Country

Since the start of writing, erotic literature in the form of pornography has existed. Since the start of art, pornography has existed. Since the start of photography, pornography has existed. Since the start of videography, pornography has existed. Since the start of the Internet, pornography has existed. The Internet has only made pornography more prevalent, and it used to be that some young curious teenage boys would discover their father’s magazines. If it was not their father’s magazines, it was their mother’s dress catalogs. The Internet has only allowed teenage boys and girls to discover porn at a younger age. There are certainly those stricter parents who have enforced blocks on their computers and children cannot gain access, but eventually, porn is discovered, and urges may be acted upon.

The prevalence of porn, even with an ever-growing number of anti-porn supporters, remains nearly uncensored and constant. Porn is a business with endless numbers of men and women who want to act in and produce porn. The demand for porn and the types of pornography can range from what is considered normal to completely abnormal. Every single person who is fond of porn has a type of fetish — something that turns them on, and because of that demand, the porn industry thrives in many ways. From the softest and most innocent thoughts to the raunchiest and dirtiest thoughts of sexuality, there is a demand for it. You name it, there is a fetish for it, and a producer has filmed that fetish and sold it for profit. There is even a fetish for infantilism — grown men or women who find it sexually arousing to be treated like a baby.

For every fetish out there, there is a porn star who is willing to perform the act, and when it comes to money, there are plenty of people who are willing to do anything for it. Amateur or beginner porn stars make very little money. Heterosexual men who have barely made a name for themselves make the least in the industry. There are those few heterosexual men that break through and make names for themselves and build empires in their name, making millions, but for the most part, a homosexual man has a better chance at making more money. Sometimes the money is so appealing that heterosexual men will actually perform as homosexual men just to make more money.

As porn actresses begin to make names for themselves and become in demand, and with each new act they perform, they can definitely make a lot of money. Lesbian scenes. Anal scenes. Cumshot scenes. Creampie scenes. Threesome scenes. Group sex scenes. In any and every location imaginable. The more a porn actress is willing to do, the more money she can certainly make. There are also plenty of porn actresses who have gone to college, learned the business, and even figured out how to market themselves to make more money.

Porn is the ultimate fantasy for so many and is a cash crop to those who perform and produce it. Everything on camera seems pleasant, fun, and easy, but it is just acting. While the sex is certainly real, and the orgasms of men are certainly real, the majority of it is just acting. It almost seems like the men who perform could last for hours, though the truth is that filming is done throughout the day and the porn actor does have time to recuperate, recharge, and become erect again — though it looks like he has gone an entire hour. There are many men who would love to be in porn and fantasize about it as a career, but being a man in porn is not easy — getting an erection and maintaining that erection for long periods of time is just one of the requirements.

Porn can create a problem in the real world: Both men and women who have been exposed to porn sometimes have unrealistic expectations and are eventually exposed to the truth. Sure, with practice, a couple can become amazing at sex and even perform with each other like porn stars. With patience and understanding, a couple may even want to act out a porn scene they both find erotic and arousing, but men who expect women to behave like porn stars are in for a rude awakening, while women who expect men to last for a half hour or more are also in for quite a rude awakening. This is not to say that there are not women out there who enjoy behaving and being treated like a porn star when they are in the mood, and there are certainly men out there who can last for a long time, but for the majority of people, sex is only as exciting as they make it.

Don’t get me wrong, sex is a beautiful and wonderful act between one, two, or more people, but sex in porn is a fantasy made to turn the majority of men on, and definitely those women who find it arousing. Porn sells and the better it looks, the more arousing it is, the more it will sell. Porn is all about the visual shots — and is supposed to acquire a male audience, as males are said to be more sexually visual creatures when it comes to porn and sex. While there is definitely a market for couples to sell their less glamorous amateur sex video tapes, it hardly ever comes out the same as when there are a dozen professionals filming it.

While there are many who say the porn industry is not dangerous, although there are supposed to be strict sanctions in the porn industry — mandatory testing every few months and mandatory condom use — there are plenty of production companies who do not follow the policies and are fined a large amount of money, but make so much money, they would prefer to just pay the fine and be done with it. This, unfortunately, does make it dangerous for almost all porn stars, as there have been HIV- and AIDs-infected actors and actresses who unknowingly have spread the disease to non-infected porn stars. If the pool of porn stars were to remain small and everyone knew each other and got tested on a regular basis, it may be safer, but there are plenty of rising amateur and professional porn stars who get into the business and have sex for money with anyone without proper testing, and may unknowingly contract a disease. Porn stars who have contracted diseases are contained and are usually prohibited from performing in the future. A quick search of the Internet reveals that the average life expectancy of a porn star is anywhere from 35 to 40 years old.

Unfortunately, the dangers of pornography extend to the fact that there is still a great demand for child pornography and even bestiality, both of which are highly illegal acts in almost all places, and could get the producer and the watcher of such material in trouble with the law, and they may even serve jail time — some may even serve life in jail for attempting to seek out and find such material. There is still a demand which creates the business of sex trafficking and sex slaves including children “sex workers”, and so this type of business continue to exist in our world today. In order to crack down on such illegal acts, search engines, such as Google and Microsoft Bing will work with government agencies to do their best in tracking down those who are searching for illegal pornographic material. If there is no such material to be found on the Internet or in the world, than there would be no market for it.

Porn can be both good and bad to those who wish to define it: Good if it is used correctly and bad when someone fails to realize that pornography is just an act on film in front of a camera. Porn has existed for as long as man has demanded it and while we think of porn as only existing in this day and age, there is certainly pornography that can be found inscribed on cave walls or parchments dating back to when man was just learning how to write. Porn continues to exist and thrive because there is and always will be a demand for it.
