If you are as crazy as me about pictures, videos, images and animations, than please don’t stop here. It is time that I bring you into a world fire for every photo-crazy person out there. The world of the selfie-gif!
Yes, you heard me right! They have finally integrated two of the most trending visual content items on social media: the selfie and the gif.
What is even more exciting is the fact that people now have the ability to make a selfie-gif on Android and iOS. So without any further ado, it is time that we begin to analyze these selfie-gif applications that are just waiting to be downloaded and used.
First up is the app named Phhhoto which runs on iOS and was developed for iPhone. The basic function of this application is really simple. All it has to do is take a number of pictures successively and then attaches them together to form a gif. The application has only two filters, but after using this application for a bit I fell in love with it because of the perfect output. The good about this application is that you can share the end product built by this gif sharing platform on various social media platforms and even send them via text or e mail. Pretty impressive, right?
If you are looking for more effects and more colours on the iOS platform, than you should go for the Funimate. It has a total of eighteen, yes eighteen filters! You can have so much fun while developing your selfie-gif with any and all of the filters. (Obviously you would have to use them one by one.) This free app posts a funimate logo at the bottom right corner of every selfie-gif, but if you buy it for the mere price of $1.99, you can produce the gif without any logos on them. Just like the Phhhoto app, you can send out the selfie-gifs on various social media platforms.
If you are an Android user, than you should most definitely go for phogy. It works like a digital camera which lets you make a gif for any target that is moving about, you press the play button and when you want it to end, you press the stop button. The downside I would say is that fact that you can only share the selfie-gifs on Google+ and Tumblr.
The selfie 360 is another fabulous application that is present for both the Android and iOS iPhone. It is extensively used when you want to tell everybody about where you are. When you are taking the selfie you would find that the speed is too fast as compared to the regular selfie-gif, but do not panic, you can easily slow the gif down when you edit it. The great thing about this application is that you can share the selfie-gif on just about every social media platform as well as in an email or a text.
These are just some of the selfie-gif applications that are currently available in the market. I cannot tell you which one is the perfect app for you, but I am sure once you have tried a few of them, you will figure that out on your own.
