While retirement might seem far off for many, there are steps to be taken now to best plan for the future.
A new report from MedicareFAQ dives into American retirees’ top regrets, with finances topping the list.
The report found 59% of retirees have financial concerns about their retirement and 54% say they didn’t save enough money. In fact, 1 in 4 plan to continue working during retirement.
- 86% wish they would’ve saved more for retirement
- 60% didn’t start investing in retirement funds early enough
- 1 in 10 delayed retirement
The top advice retirees would give to younger generations? Start saving for retirement as early as possible, prioritize experiences over material possessions, and find a fulfilling work-life balance.
