Survey Of 2,00 College Seniors And Recent College Graduates
Graduating college is a milestone achievement and a time for graduates to reflect on their collegiate experience as well as their excitement for the future.
MidAmerica Nazarene University recently surveyed 2,000 graduates from around the country to learn more about their collegiate experience, employment outlook and views on student loans.
Here’s what they found:
- 62% of graduates said the job market actively influenced the major they selected
- However only 45% of graduates feel positively about the current job market
- If money wasn’t a factor, 55% of graduates would have pursued a different major or career
- Only 37% of graduates have a job lined up before graduation
