New Report: Nearly 3 in 5 Americans willing to spend more at local businesses this holiday season
Holiday shopping is here and despite the economy tightening budgets, a majority of Americans are keeping their holiday spending close to home with 57% saying they’re willing to pay more to support local businesses.
Amidst the 33 million small businesses across the nation, a new Small Business Report found this support is a lifeline for the 44% of local business owners who are depending on holiday season sales this year.
As we approach Small Business Saturday this weekend (November 25th), owners are gearing up for a promising economic boost as a majority of Americans are eagerly planning to participate in the initiative this year!
The impact will be particularly felt in states like Florida, Vermont, Wyoming, Colorado, New York, and California, as they’re among the top states with the most small businesses.
With the busy shopping weekend ahead of us – Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday – this week might be the perfect time to share this with your audience! Take a look at the full report for more insights. Let me know if you have any questions or are interested in setting up an interview!
