Cleaning House As A Workout
Many of us have difficulty finding the motivation to clean their home. People often end up getting a regular cleaning service in or just let the tasks just pile up. When you let tasks pile up it becomes all the more daunting to tackle and it really does become a vicious circle. This infographic from HappyCleans looks at house cleaning from the perspective of it being a workout and hopefully it will change your outlook a bit.
Remember that as you clean you’re also exercising as many of the most common tasks are quite strenuous. For example, when you’re hoovering you can work up a bit of a sweat and it burns 153 calories an hour. It doesn’t seem so bad when you think how hoovering gives a you a cleaner home and also a mini workout.
Dust is also something that can pile up if we don’t keep on top of it. This is particularly bad if you suffer from any allergies. Did you know that dusting burns around 174 calories an hour? If you spent an afternoon dusting the whole home you would get a serious workout. Check out the full infographic now for more tips on turning cleaning into a workout.
