[Report] 58% Plan On Using Rewards Points for Travel in 2024
As Americans book Spring Break travel, many are budgeting carefully to stay within their limits.
A new report examining 2024 American travel plans and budgets found that Americans are budgeting $2,700 on a spring break trip this year.
Cost is a concern for the 90% of Americans traveling in 2024:
- 2 in 3 are budgeting an average of $5300 towards travel this year
- 54% say the economy is affecting their plans
- 58% are using rewards points to help pay for travel
While 50% of Americans are planning on traveling more this year than last year, they’re doing so with costs in mind: 21% plan on taking a workcation rather than take time off.
