Slip on shoes or sneakers are getting more popular day by day, its casual look gives so much confidence that almost everyone wants to have this in their wardrobe. Slip on are perfect for those who don’t want to make any effort in changing their shoe in daily life. Fits for all occasion either it is party or office you can have this anywhere. It comes in different colours and patterns. They are basically made to provide traction for many surface or terrain. Not all the slip on shoe is casual and stylish though. However, there are more sophisticated styles which are very attractive to the eye but your feet will love them. Slip on shoe is very stylish, comfortable and very safe. These slip on shoes are made of leather and easily fits on your budget.

THE ULTIMATE GUIDE
Slip-ons are typically low, laceless shoes. In American and UK culture, the style of these shoes are most commonly seen. In these countries, they are also called loafers or slippers. In the beginning, these shoes were considered casual.
History
A London-based bespoken shoe company developed the first slip-on shoes as a country house shoe for the landed gentry and royal family. Shoemaker Nils GregoriussonTveranger introduced his first design around 1908. Since 1908 to present, these shoes have changed a lot in their journey.
Types of Slip-ons
Wildsmith
Raymond Lewis Wildsmith designed these shoes in 1926 and now, they are widely known as the Wildsmith Loafers.
Aurland
In Aurland, a fisherman wore the shoes made by Shoemaker Nils GregoriussonTveranger in 1930 with a combination of Native American moccasin with shoes.
Penny
Main launched a loafer in 1936 called the ‘Weejun’. It became very popular among prep school studetns who kept pennies in the saddle slot for pay phone calls.
Kilted
The slip-ons got kilted in the 1950s when Kiltie golf shoes and penny loafers were at their fashion zenith. They were fashionable shoes.
Gucci
Italian designer Aldo Gucci refined the lines, added a gold horse bit, and made them in black. This elevated the loafer to formal wear status in 1953.
Belgian
Beglian shoes were designed in 1954. Henri Bendel bought two old shoe factories in Belgium. His loafers became an instant hit, and the bow was easily recognisable. His work earned him two knighthoods.
Tasseled
Brooks Brothers and Alden Shoe Co collaborated to produce the popular tasseled slip-on shoes in 1957.
Uses of Slip-ons
In the UK, the loafer enjoys general use as a casual and informal shoe worn for work and leisure. Some types of these shoes like casual Tassel and Penny loafers are worn by women. These shoes are worn with a variety of outfits from shorts, jeans, slacks, and capris to dresses and skirts. They are ideal for creatives, running around town, or simply kicking back in.
