As new “Silicon” hubs pop up nationwide, many are debating which will be the next big tech city. These cities must be places attractive to young innovative tech geniuses and offer a place for them to thrive.

So, in a new study from Jotform, they’ve found which U.S. cities are best for young GenZ techies to launch their tech careers.

Top 10 Cities in the U.S. for Gen Z Techies

The study analyzes the 150 largest cities by the average tech salary and affordability, the local GenZ population and tech-friendly factors to uncover the best cities. Findings include:

• The tech boom is real in #1 Miami, FL where GenZ techies abound (22.7% of the population are Gen Zers), and tech salaries are steadily climbing.
• 3 Florida cities feature in the top 10: #1 Miami, #2 Orlando, and #9 Tampa. All three offer some of the best balances of youthful GenZ populations, affordability, and blossoming tech industry of all the cities analyzed.
• #3 Cincinnati is the most affordable, with an average monthly rent of $760 and the real value of their $100, a powerful $110.38.
• All of the top 10 cities boast salaries over $100K.
