[Report] Average American Travel Budget 2024: $5300
Checking in on the second annual IPX1031 Travel Forecast that found that this year, 50% of Americans are planning to travel more than in 2023; 90% are planning on travel in 2024.
With an average overall travel budget of $5,300 and a Spring Break budget of $2,700, 54% are saying the economy is impacting their travel plans. A further 15% have already had to delay or cancel travel plans due to cost, and 1 in 3 are skipping flying this year, primarily due to airfare prices.
