As summer travel season nears, take a look at the report American workers’ embrace of “bleisure” travel?
The report offers new insights on “bleisure” — blended business and leisure trips — including 49% of those traveling for work are planning to turn their 2024 work trips into bleisure travel. From tacking on PTO to the tail end of work trips, to extended hotel stays for personal travel, bleisure’s efficiency and economical benefits of lowering vacation costs has workers jumping on the band wagon.
You can find more details from the nationwide survey of 1,000+ American workers, here. Your audience may be particularly interested in the perceived benefits of bleisure, like the 68% of folks who’d be more attracted to a job that encouraged bleisure travel, and the 85% of workers who believe jobs should offer a “free day” on a work trip to encourage bleisure.
