AI is poised to disrupt how video games are made– what are gamers looking forward to?
A new survey of American gamers about AI and video games found that 74% would use AI as a co-player for multiplayer games.
- 46% believe AI will increase game quality in the future
- Over 1 in 2 are excited for more interactive capability
- 87% believe AI will affect how RPGs are made
With this new era of tech, some games will live on: gamers ranked the Mario franchise as the #1 contemporary classic game, followed by the Grand Theft Auto and Zelda franchises.
