Ready for the 30,000 ft view of global startups in 2018?

My team recently analyzed the top 200 startups in the world (according to live data from Startup Ranking), to better understand what types of businesses are trending and which countries produce them. We categorized businesses based on the product or service they provide end users.

Some of the interesting trends from our analysis:

• 20% of startups in the top 15 are business communication tools
• 33% in the top 15 help users create or share cotnent
• India and Canada produce the most startups after the US
