What will I be doing as an apprentice?
You’ll be working for a company operating in the construction industry. These days are often long and it can be hard work, but rewards are excellent if you stick with it.

Both small firms and massive construction companies offer apprenticeships. FACT: 92% of the industry is made up of small firms, many of which employ apprenticeships.

Who can apply to become an apprentice?
To begin an apprenticeship you need to be:
-16 years-old+
-Not in full-time education
Find an apprenticeship provider
Best places to start are the CITB website, National Apprenticeship Service website, and websites of large construction groups.
Decide on what apprenticeship appeals most to you
