How Far Can You Travel In A Telsa?

Elon Musk’s Tesla electric vehicles have been a cause of great excitement amongst the public since the company was founded in 2003. From their unique designs and high performance, these electric cars have proved to be immensely popular.

But how far can these vehicles actually travel on just one charge?

We have worked with RS Components to reveal the distance each Tesla model can go with one full charge of battery. Varying in battery size, price and release date, Tesla vehicles vary substantially in the distance they can travel, with some models reaching 100 miles more than others.

• Model S 100D is the Tesla that can travel the furthest – the vehicle can travel a staggering 310 miles with one charge, and it’s not even the most expensive model, costing £93,150

• The Tesla Model 3 comes in as the ‘best value’ vehicle – costing just £30,000 this car can get you an impressive 210 miles. That’s the same distance a Model X 7SD can get you, but this vehicle will cost you over double the price at £79,400

• 2019 has seen Musk push for Tesla’s that are more affordable – three models from 2019 all cost £50,000 or below, whereas in 2016 and 2017, prices reached up to £127,750. This reflects on Musk’s desire to open the market for Tesla’s and also the technological developments that have taken place over the last few years
