8 Hard Truths of Life
Do you remember that famous quote?
“Life is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing”
This line is from Shakespeare’s play Macbeth spoken by title character himself.
Do you know why Macbeth said this? He meant to say that life is meaningless. It goes on for a concise time and is brimming with “sound and wrath“, yet at last, nothing keeps going. For this small period of time, people do many things in greed of wealth, fame, and other material things that eventually runs in vain, and he/she regrets of doing wrong deeds.
How great it would be if people embrace reality, and acknowledge true facts of life, and then run their lives according to its direction to lead a peaceful journey. There are many people living on the surface of this globe who are waiting for their final call, and wondering “I wish may I could learn earlier how to lead a life, and I wish may I would have learned earlier the hard truths of life”
So, we are going to discuss the hard truths of life.
1. Everyone You Love Is Going To Die
Every living soul must die – though it sounds like a cliché statement, it serves as an anecdote for life. Never take your dear ones for granted, neither get yourself into the wrong direction as life is going to end one day, and everyone you love is also going to die someday as well.
Try to cherish the memories instead of creating havoc in other’s lives, and stop spoiling your own life, only then will you be able to overcome the unrelenting sorrow of this morbid life.
2. The Perfect Partner Doesn’t Exist
No one is born perfect – neither you, neither people close to you in your life, but a person who works on oneself – his or her inner personality and skills – in order to make oneself perfect. Similarly, never expect you will get a perfect partner to tie the knot. Discover somebody you adore and expand upon it.
Take a gander at your association with the said individual as a clear canvas on an easel; you and your accomplice are the mechanical assemblies that make a superb show-stopper when joined.
3. You Cannot Always Rely on Friends
At times, there will come many circumstances in life when there will be no one there to help you, and no one to assist you, be it your chunk of close friends, your parents or your dear siblings, and you’ll have to manage everything on your own.
In this way, you must rely on yourself to keep out of trouble. It is a sad fact of life that we cannot count on other people most of the time. Make sure you have the following skills:
- You can cook
- You can drive
- You are tech-savvy
- You can manage your time
4. Challenges Haven’t Finished Yet
Someone said well;
“Hope for the best and cope with the rest”
Life will not always be flowery for you, the dark side of ordeals hasn’t finished yet. Those who endured hardships, like being homeless, divorced or ill, found that they have been able to develop better-coping strategies and were more socially active.
You will have to learn to be stronger and not give up. The good news is that adversity and suffering will make you appreciate life afterward.
5. Money is Everything
Unfortunately, another fact that has been noticed in life is that money is more than the relationship or friendship, and its significance is beyond everything in this world.
Whether we call it racism, or magic of wealth, the society has only respect for people who flaunt their wealth and publicly boast of their luxuries in this temporary world.
6. Nobody Else Will Praise You
Do not step back if you don’t get encouraging hands to pat on you on the back. We are living in an era where no one praises others, nor encourages to motivate for doing something remarkable.
It goes on for a concise time and is brimming with “sound and wrath”, yet at last, nothing keeps going.
7. Expectations Ruin Your Happiness
You’re never being offended by people themselves, but it’s your expectations from them that kills your happiness. Expect too much and you’re bound to be disappointed on a daily basis.
This does not mean to stop expecting, or expecting too low; instead, limit your expectations. Keep yourself in check to make sure you don’t expect too much.
8. You Learn From Failure
You become stronger with time, and gradually become able to tackle all situations, but unfortunately, this all happens when disaster passes through your life. As it is said that, “Something that fails to kill you, makes you stronger”
Whenever you find yourself stuck in ordeals of life, do not curse yourself. Simply ask yourself how you could have stayed away from the trap or arranged it better. Thus, you can take in a couple of life lessons from disappointment.
