Powering The Planet

From sending cars to space, to creating one of the worlds most used online payment system, it’s hard to deny Musk’s success across the last two decades. Paypal, Tesla and Space X are just a few of the reasons Musk has become a household name but he has plans for the future that may impact our lives on an even greater scale.

With a huge focus in the media on the current state of our planet from plastics, to air quality it’s no surprise that Elon Musk is thinking forward in the fight against climate change.

An innovator and entrepreneur, Musk has taken a look into the future and layed out how he plans to power the planet starting this year! These plans span all the way to 2032 and cover many aspects of green living including his prediction that in 15 years, the majority of roofs will be solar panels. In the nearer future, part of Musk’s plan is to double the amount of Superchargers; the free Tesla charging stations that connect to the EVs and charge them up in a matter of minutes instead of hours, by 2018.

With these predictions set to come to life in less than 15 years, what else will the tech entrepreneur devise for the renewable energy sector in years to come?
