A new report from USA Today Blueprint reveals the junk fees Americans encounter most frequently and how they’re pushing back against the practice.
Key findings:
93% of Americans have paid junk fees, and 91% believe they’re becoming increasingly common.
- 83% of consumers have abandoned a transaction due to junk fees.
- 59% of consumers report experiencing junk fees during online shopping orders — more than in any other situation.
