Pugs are the cutest buffoons amongst the dog varieties. They are almost like humans in their nature. Pugs love attention and the beloved company of humans and their wrinkly crinkly face are so much fun. Sometimes they appear worried, to their owners because of their creased faces but they are known to be the happiest of breeds from ancient times. History states, Pugs were bred as companions by Royal families in China and were given the elite treatment. They are the most friendly and loving canines, be it with humans or any other species. They are the safest of all the dog breeds, with kids around. They just adore human company and can follow you to infinity. Nobody can resist a smile seeing the charming big dark eyes gazing from the funny, round, wrinkly face.
If you love your space more often, then please spare this love seeking buddy because he is the sensitive one and can get anxious and stressed if left alone for longer periods.

If you are the type who is less of a fitness freak, then Pugs can be your best choice. Because of its short and fragile frame, it does not require much of the physical exercise. Twenty minutes of walk in the morning & evening is good enough to keep the short guy happy and fit.

Pugs are the sensitive breed and prone to get ill in extreme hot or cold weathers. Hence you must be careful to maintain the indoor temperatures suitable accordingly for its wellbeing. They snore and snort because of their facial structure, so be prepared for the initial buzz in your silent nights and then you will be used to your companion.
