War, war, everywhere.
And not enough blood to spill.
When will it ever end?
It never will.
How many bodies must die?
How many tears must we cry?
How much more do we need to buy?
How much longer will the government lie?
How much time must pass to make the pain end?
How much time must pass to make all life end?
Every government must know that it has a fortune to spend.
Every government must know that it has a fortune to lend.
Every government must know that it has a fortune to mend.
Corruption. Extortion. Greed. Tyranny.
When will it ever end?
It never will.
When will life get better?
When will life actually matter?
Will it take the death of a nation?
Will it take the death of a religion?
Will it take the death of many people?
Haven’t we seen this all before?
Haven’t we lived long enough to see?
It was not meant to be like this, it was supposed to be “we”.
It just doesn’t work that way, the way we thought it could be.
It just doesn’t work that way, the way we thought it should be.
Us and Them. Them and Us.
What makes them so different, so different from us?
Why can’t we all see that we were all chosen?
Who is responsible for it all?
Who wishes to claim the lives that have been stolen?
Who is the one responsible for setting it all in motion?
Why must they continue to play this game?
Why must they continue to cause this pain?
How much longer will they reign?
No one should ever have to die in vain.
In the end, it is always the same.
War, war, everywhere.
And not enough blood to spill.
When will it ever end?
It never will.
