Which Master’s Degrees Are Prospective Students Across The Country Most Interested In 2019?
According to a new research by Olivet Nazarene University, 1. Master of Business Administration (MBA), 2. Master of Health Administration (MHA) and 3. Master of Public Health (MPH).
The report, which can be seen here, includes a breakdown of the most searched for master’s degrees in the U.S. (by Google search volume) as well as the top 3 most popular master’s degrees by state. Using the Google AdWords platform, Olivet Nazarene University analyzed search volume trends for more than 150 master’s degree related terms, over a 12-month period from July 2018 to July 2019.
Once they established the most popular master’s degree searches in the US, they gathered state-level search volume data and compared the percentages of overall search for each term against national averages.

4 out of the top 5 most searched degrees don’t even crack the top 25 for highest earning degrees!!
This seems to indicate that people are more interested in following their dreams and studying subjects that are of interest to them as opposed to simply going back to school to earn a degree that will earn you the money moving forward with your career.
