This can make packing up and moving your possessions a daunting task requiring military levels of precession. This guide gives you easy to follow and practical advice to help you pack, move, and store your stuff.

BEFORE YOU START TO PACK

If you can’t be bothered to take it, then let it go:

GETTING READY TO PACK

TIP
Take an inventory of what you’re taking and what’s going into storage

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Different size cardboard boxes
• Heavy duty boxes
• Strong tape
• Bubble wrap
• Self Seal Bags

TIP

Corrugated cardboard boxes are stronger than regular ones
Overestimate how many boxes you will need

PACKING

TIPS

1. Start from the top of the house and work downwards
2. Put heavy items in small boxes
3. Keep all boxes to a reasonable weight
4. Spread books out across boxes (they can get very heavy when put together)
5. Label as you go
6. Create tow important document files
   • One for house move documents
   • One for other important personal documents

• Ask your vet about travel sickness medication
