Once dry, pour sterilized water that has been cooled or boiled. You can also add commercial floral preservation for fragrance.
Add room temperature water in the vase, ensure that the container is not overflowing and then add the wedding flowers in the vase.
Adding flowers: The thumb rule for keeping the flowers in the vase that flowers should be one and a half times the height of the vessel. To make the flowers adequately adjustable in the vase follow these simple steps. Cut the stem at an obtuse angle of about 45 degrees to achieve the maximum that allows the stems to absorb the water as much as possible. Don’t use the sharp blade it may damage or crush the stems. After every 24 hours replace the sterilized water and flower food and preservative and recut the stems at the same angle.

Once you finish with the trimming process of the stems place the end of the stem in boiling water for about 25 to 30 seconds. Or, else you can hold the stem on flame for few seconds. And then place the stem in the container with lukewarm water and floral preservative.
Storage of flowers: Most of the flowers remain fresh at the room temperature. But make sure not to place them under direct sunlight, keep them away from heating devices or fireplaces. Moreover, if your wedding flowers are ethylene sensitive, then you have to keep them separately far from vegetable and fruits.
Generally, well managed and preserved cut flowers remain fresh for 7 to 10 days and even depends on its particular instances or type of the flowers. Most importantly, beautifully manageable flowers enhance the charm of the wedding and add value to your special day.
