New data reveals that last year 12.5 million workers were off sick due to stress, anxiety or depression. The industries affected most were teaching, health and the economy. So how does your industry fare in terms of the average weekly working hours? And at what annual salary are you working for?
People seem to be working long hours and losing out of recreation or family time for no real gain. This new interactive tool by life and health insurance Vitality uses ONS data to reveal both how much people are earning and working compared to others with the same age, gender and industry, with the aim of persuading people to rebalance their work and life schedules, allowing time for recreation, wellness, exercise and social time.
