Most Googled Financial Questions By State [Infographic]

What financial issues are worrying Americans most in 2018?

To find out we teamed up with Liberty Bank to analyze Google search trends data to find the most Googled financial topics across the country. We then compared them to see which topics were the most searched per state.

Analyzing the data we found found that:

The number one topic being searched relates to student loans with 2.4 million monthly searches. This was followed by mortgage related searches (2.3 million) and car loan searches (560,000)
Foreclosure was the number one topic in 17 states with searches for interest rates coming in second as the most searched for topic in 10 states. Surprisingly enough debt consolidation was the number one search in only 1 state (New Jersey)
