When I first started working, no one told me some elite organization, a mafia-style like organization, would be charging me money to work for “my” money (our money is never ours), and any money, and I mean — ANY MONEY — I plan to make, I have to give them some.
So every year, I fall for the same scam, over and over, because I know if I don’t fall for the scam, I will get a mafia-type letter in the mailbox, threatening me that I will not only be paying interest on my own money, that I lent to the United States government, who gives me no interest in return.
Not only that, but they also threaten that if I managed to not get my finances right when I reported it to them — which I usually end up paying some company to do it for me, because automation is just awesome when it comes to figuring out your money — they will fine me with a penalty on my money. I face having my life destroyed if I don’t comply.
If I don’t pay them the interest, the penalty, and what I owe them, they will threaten to take the wages from my paycheck, so that I can’t pay my mortgage, my bills, and for anything else that allows me to have the very tiny illusion of “freedom” that we “fight so hard for and pride ourselves” in this country.
And this is not to knock the U.S. soldier, may God bless you, and please, be safe, and get home to your loved ones. But what exactly are we really fighting for anymore? A corrupt government? And so, if it’s not paid, I could lose my house, my wife, and everything I’ve ever loved.
Here’s the funny thing: I HAVE NO EXTRA MONEY. And you are telling me that I owe you money? Really? How much more of a slave do you want me to be in this system? My student loans made me a slave. My girlfriend’s desire to satisfy her wants made me a slave. My job has made me a slave. My mortgage has made me a slave. My now-wife’s wants have made me a slave. Our kids have made us slaves. Their wants have made me a slave. My families wants have made me a slave.
Every year, I seem to owe more money, despite using the very software I pay for, to relieve me of the burden of making mistakes, but every year, I am a slave to this scam. Only the rich know how to beat it and avoid it and save their “hard earned” money. Hard-earned, what exactly did they do anyway? A soldier’s work is “hard-earned”. Someone who sits on a board or is in politics? Is that “easy money”? Because even for them — the job requires a lot of lying and backstabbing and looking the American people in the face — and totally not giving a shit about them at all.
Is this how it’s supposed to be? Is this what “my freedom” is? Report all the money you made because we give you that “freedom” to report your taxes, and if you fail to report it, we will come after you when we find out what you’ve done wrong, and we will find you, and fine you hard. What great joy that brings me! Have anyone else do that to you — they’d be in jail for life. The government? Not so much.
They are your government, so they can do that. Totally normal. Totally fine. I’ll deal with the trauma you caused me, and keep working so I can pay you a cut of my earnings. Just leave me alone, please. I’m just trying to make it as an American citizen. But I face having my life destroyed,
And so, this scam keeps me motivated to call myself an “American”, a United States citizen. A slave to my mortgage, my debt, my kids, my wife, and “the system” that is. I may as well be a single individual because that is the only time you are truly free and get to be yourself.
What is the desire to meet people? To lock yourself down? To get pre-occupied with so much bullshit? Is this the life for you? Most people get on the wrong track too soon. And it’s like humans, aliens, and everything within the universe is just it’s drama unfolding.
And this is all I know, because I’m doing it, everyone else is doing it, and those who aren’t doing it either get screwed, need some type of assistance (probably from the money they are trying to collect from me and everyone else), or are just fending for themselves on the streets. We are all witness and slaves to our own misfortunes. We live in our own hell.
As for that organization that sends the mafia-type letters? They call this American government-funded group, the IRS.
