Are you in school right now? High school? College? Are you wondering what careers you should choose? If you have an idea of what you want to do with your life, or even if you have no idea, never get deferred from what you are passionate about and what you want to do for a living. Research your career choice and determine whether it is right for you.
If you have no idea what you want to do, you still have plenty of time. In fact, you have your entire life to decide. Many people may never decide what they love to do and end up just working a mundane job for a paycheck. There are many people who are in thankless jobs or jobs they hate. You should make sure your job choice pays you well enough to live and be comfortable. You should aim to make a great living in order to comfortable with your life. Make sure that you demand a reasonable salary within your field.
If you are just starting out, you may need to ask for less in order to get your foot in the door. With experience, knowledge, and education comes the possibility to make demands. The career path you choose may not always pay the most money, but may be something you love doing. If you are comfortable showing up to work everyday, performing your job, and loving what you do, than you should hold on to this job for as long as you can. Remember: If you love what you do and do what you love, you will never work a day in your life.
