The internet certainly one of the most advanced inventions of the century. We can do many things with the internet; we can connect with the world as well as we can get information we all need by browsing different search engines within few moments as it iss having faster communication, providing various online services, as well as helping in building social relationships. It is not only helping to get information about different fields but it also helps in managing one’s daily lifestyle.
The Internet has become an integral part of most people’s lives. You can find majority of the world’s population online every day. Now people are very much addicted to the Internet and it is the first thing in the morning that most people do, from browsing the internet and checking their email, to chatting with friends, or even logging into work from home. While some people use the Internet for receiving updates and top news; others use it for entertainment and fun, as well as connecting with, and building new relationships through social networks.
Like broadband, LAN and Wi-Fi, mobile phone-based Internet also an important element of Internet usage. As it is a nano device and having the facilities of accessing the Internet anywhere, it is now the most popular tool for using the Internet. It is exciting to read about the density of Internet users and also to know about speed and connectivity around the worldwide.
Americans are often surprised to know about comparison of Internet speed, cost and adoption with other countries, but US is not at the top of any of those lists. Europe is having the highest accessing percentage and Africa is the lowest percentage of Internet usage. Korea and Benin are the fastest and slowest countries accordingly in Internet consumption. While the highest numbers of unique visitors are accessing Google, Facebook has taken second place.
