Vlogging Made Easy
Most of the time, blogging gets a lot of love, much more than video, as people are still camera shy and believe that written content is still king over video content. The whole Internet is made up of trillions of content in the form of letters and words. In the dawn of the Internet, it was rare to see to video, as the technology of the time just did not allow for it. Fortunately, with the advancement of Internet connection speed and unlimited storage websites, video gave rise, with massive video websites launching to provide people a free platform to begin The Art of Not Blogging, but it instead of not blogging, it became The Art of Not Vlogging.
Before videos officially became a thing on the Internet, web designers and webmasters would have to upload their videos and have people download it directly from their servers. If too many people were downloading it at once, it would certainly take quite a while to download. Enter the age of the streaming video and eventually, the massive platform YouTube, and finally, everyone could easily place video on their website, without stressing bandwidth from their host servers. YouTube, and in essence, Google, who bought YouTube, decided to take the hits, in the form of space and bandwidth, mostly paid for by advertising.
While all-video site blogs are relatively young, many people forego having blogs and switch instead to completely vlogs, or video blogs, giving up any camera-shyness in order to communicate with their visitors and fans. They forego writing anything and instead, record hours and hours of videos of themselves, and upload them to YouTube, where they store them on channels. Some people do eventually set up a website to display those YouTube video. Many of these people have become video celebrities in their own right.
