According to a recent study, one-fifth of UK workers feel burnt out, resulting in 70% of workers seeking a new role in 2024. But which UK cities are most likely to job hop?
To find out, using a seedlist of the 30 most populated UK cities, Immerse Education has conducted a study to reveal the cities that are the biggest job hunters! Combining 30 of the most in-demand jobs and 30 of the most popular industries, the study reveals the residents searching for new roles the most in the UK.

Here are some key findings from the data:
Manchester residents are revealed as the biggest job hunters, with a total of 90 monthly Google searches per 10,000 people looking into different career types. The most searched-for job role in Manchester is a Business Analyst.
Birmingham residents are in second place, with 80 Google searches every month for careers in specific industries. The most searched-for industry in Birmingham is Teaching.
Business Analyst is the most popular job title in the UK right now, with 3,230 monthly Google searches for the role.
