Hello, My name is Megan, I’m part of the Community Outreach team for Florin|Roebig, a law firm with a long history of achieving results and representing clients from virtually every state in the Nation. Because of our passion for community involvement, we wanted to use our experience and gathered knowledge to create informational resources.
I’m writing to you because I noticed that you had really informational resources for Veterans and their families, specifically on this page: http://confessionsoftheprofessions.com/veteran-and-disability-related-resources/. We recently wrote a guide on the many different ways discrimination can affect Veterans and I thought that it might be a good fit for your audience.
I think many of us can agree that knowledge is power. This is something we’ve noticed when working with our Veteran community, and how simply learning about their experiences can provide a sense of comfort. For that reason, we created this guide for community members who feel as though they’ve been discriminated against and want to understand what discrimination can look like, what their rights are, as well as their options of defense.
In the guide, https://florinroebig.com/veteran-rights-discrimination/, we touch on different points such as:
- Disabled Veteran Rights
- Discrimination in the workplace, healthcare system, social setting, and legal settings
- The laws protecting Veteran rights
- What to do if you have experienced discrimination
- Government resources
- & much more
Perhaps you’d be interested in checking it out and sharing it as a resource?
