Study: 56% of Americans Have Online Shopped During a Zoom Meeting
Have we normalized remote work enough yet to where we can speak about the weird things we do on Zoom calls with impunity?
Quality Logo Products surveyed 1,200 currently employed Americans to find out.
Findings:
- The most common online meeting distractions are texting (86%), doing other work (75%), and online shopping (56%).
- The majority of Americans (80%) zone out more in online meetings than in person.
- 50% turn their webcam off the majority of online meetings.
- The top things employers should do to make online meetings more engaging are: 1. Stick to an agenda 2. Use visual aids 3. Invest in high-quality tech.
