[Study] Where homes sold fastest during Covid-19
Perhaps the most unexpected effect of Covid-19 is the real estate boom, with an average of 42% of home listings nationwide selling in two weeks or less. But where are the most competitive real estate markets in America?
Lombardo Homes recently analyzed real estate market trends in cities nationwide to find out. Here’s what they found:
- Top 10 most competitive real estate markets: Seattle, Omaha, Lexington, Denver, Indianapolis, Portland, Oklahoma City, Sacramento, Oakland, and Tulsa
- More than half of buyers said the Covid-19 pandemic accelerated their home buying process
- 77% believe competition has increased since Covid-19, and 3 out of 4 have had a home go off-market before they got to look at it or put in an offer
