When I was eligible to vote, it was during the second Bush administration that I turned 18 and I had the power to vote. I didn’t know where I stood in terms of my political background, but according to the world: I had two major choices along with many other minor ones. Become a Democrat or become a Republican. Conservative or Liberal. More traditional or more adaptive. The difference between the two is vast, but the corruption amongst the two parties and towards the two parties is something that is very corrupt, and something that has forced me into the two powerful weapons that keep the United States on a certain agenda. Whether one is right and the other is wrong remains to be seen, but both parties tend to focus on a variety of important issues.
During the Obama administration, I was excited to see a black guy running for President, but I wasn’t a huge fan. Something seemed off about the guy and would only later be revealed, particularly in his second term. Don’t get me wrong. I respect all of our Presidents including Barack Obama and Donald Trump. It takes a special psychotic sociopath to run for President who must put on hundreds of different faces and personalities depending on the situation, although that is not completely true: I am pretty sure both Obama and Trump have a unique defining personality that identifies their traits. However, just because I saw a black guy running for President did not make me want to vote for him.
Just the same with Senator John McCain and Senator Mitt Romney, two white guys running against Obama in 2012 and 2016 respectively, I did not immediately want to vote for either of them. I like to do research on a person and see who they are, check out their history. For example, it was not until after 2010 when Hilary Clinton started praising and acknowledging the LBGTQ community. Absolutely do people change and accept new things. But this was for an actual reason: she was running for President.
While I am the furthest thing from a homosexual or bisexual, I respect their right to enjoy the same rights to life that I do including dating, marriage, and divorce. Why should they get special privileges and singled out and told the law will not acknowledge them? Maybe this was how my mom raised me. Maybe it was because I grew up knowing a friend or two were homosexuals or bisexual and later on, my predictions turned out to be accurate, though their preference hardly ever bothered me. So this just goes to say that while people can change, the question is: why the change? For Clinton, she needed to gain more supporters to vote for her, and who better than the millions of voters she voted against. Oh yes, you forgot that Hilary Clinton didn’t always support the gay, lesbian, transsexual, and bi-sexual community, but she certainly still did support her failing marriage after numerous affairs were exposed.
Anyway, this confession is not about Clinton, as she lost, and will likely be mentioned a few times in history, as “the first woman” to actually get the nomination and things like that, but she’ll also be known as the first woman who lost as well. The point is that as we saw the 2016 election and will soon see the 2020 election, the media continues to play a huge role in our lives, not unbatingly giving Trump as much media time, not only before he was President, but during, and likely to be for a while afterwards as well. I am one hundred percent (100%) positive that I could give you a 5,000 list of all the wrongdoings of Trump.
The list is insane for how much Trump has been able to get away with without any repercussion at all, and not a single Democrat has been able to stop him, despite his lack of concern for how government is actually run. However, this article was never about Trump, but if I were to write a few more things about Trump, I might say that he got lucky, he not only knows how to play the media, but politicians as well. He continues to play his game. During his Presidency, more pedophiles in media, government, and Hollywood have been exposed which no other President can say. The world changed completely once Donald Trump became President and right now, it is hard to say whether that was for the best or for the worst. In a way: the way Democrats were running the government caused the rise of Donald Trump as President, so we can surely blame them for that.
What the 2016 election showed was just how biased the media was, who they wanted to win, and that an American without any political experience or knowledge, and likely did not study the United States Constitution, with influence and a lot of money could sway the decisions of millions of Americans. It also showed other things including the fact that people judge you now based on being a right “Trump supporter” which equate you to mean bigot, racist, and a xenophobic Nazi, while the “left Democrat” is quick to judge without knowing the full story. From an objective point of view and as someone who did not support either side, both sides are very quick to write off facts and continue to follow their own opinions.
This article was not written to bash any politicians. Although Trump is far from an angel and far from an ideal President or leader, that is who the people voted for, and this year, after 4 years, the American people can have a voice to let their government know who they want to be their President. The fact that not a single Republican had anything to offer that Trump couldn’t offer meant the end of the Republican party. The fact that despite having at least 10 qualified candidates to run for President, in which two old white men were chosen as the final potential candidates, one who literally has nothing to do with the Democratic party, yet kisses their ass and accepts everything as is without so much as standing up for anything and literally showing us all that “he tried twice, but oh well.” Yup, that was the guy you wanted to be President.
His name was Bernie Sanders and he too might only get a single mention in the history books. If Sanders had stood for the true America values, which he didn’t, he might have had a chance. Unfortunately, both the idea of socialism and the fact that Sanders himself cannot handle even the Democrat wolves means he never would have stood a chance against Trump. While I had supported him in his first run of the election, before it was granted to Clinton, he no longer had my support in the second election, as he was just spewing the same exact things as the first. And when it really came down for him to step up, he stepped aside for Joe Biden.
Now Joe Biden is the Presidential candidate for the Democratic party and probably the worst person that the Democrat Party could have put forward as candidate. While Clinton has praised him, even she is yet to fully endorse Biden. Watching Biden in the debates was a keen reminder of what a privileged entitled white man would behave, but then again, we have to give Biden some credit: he was Vice President in the Obama administration.
Unfortunately, he would also mean a mix of Obama’s policies, Democratic policies, and the continued policies of a rich elitist white man from a Democrat party. I could actually be describing Donald Trump, minus the Vice President fact. Truth is, Donald Trump is simply a Democrat in wolf skin, and it worked for him. Trump is far from the smartest man in the world, but he’s smart enough to con people, and make them believe what he needs them to believe so he can get his way, much like all politicians. Had he run as a Democrat against whoever, he would have lost. Clinton would have won. He surely knew this.
So now we come back to Biden and we can list out all of his issues and things like that. They are numerous and while I could give you the general idea of what he stands for, you can do that research yourself. Most of it is likely to be bullshit and things that need to be said to get someone in there that is “not Donald Trump” and while this strategy of the Democrats might seem like it is a winning strategy, it is a horrible one. Democrats really need to pull together and understand what it is they want and how to convince Americans, whom have seen two administrations for the past 20 years not really give a shit about them. I am not telling you to vote for Donald Trump. I am not telling you to vote for Joseph Biden. What I am telling you to do is based your vote on the actions of Donald Trump, the actions of Democrats, and the actions of Joseph Biden, though he does not have the power of a sitting President, we should still be hearing more from Biden about his Presidency, but the Democrats seem to be keeping him out of the spotlight for now.
She may as well vote for the tiolet paper because at least that will wipe her ass clean and leave her feeling more fresh than what she wrote. When you become this type of person, however, no matter which party you are voting for, you must realize that this is purely brainwashing. If he is not your first or second choice, then he should probably not be your choice at all. And for that, you may disagree with me. It is understandable that we almost always get two choices: asshole or dick. We eliminated the pussy immediately, and I won’t mention names, but 2016 and 2020 have ensured that an attempted run in 2024 can never happen.
That might be left solely to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to run in 2024 and would grant her multiple successes for the Presidential title including First Woman, First Hispanic Woman, First Women From New York, and so on and so forth. This would, of course mean, that Trump may have to win in order for her to step up, but she could likely run against Biden too, if she plays all her cards right. Unfortunately, judging by the the Democratic stance on its own party members, AOC will likely be ousted by her own party. Perhaps, by then, however, we will have a far better selection of real American Capitalist Democrats, not that they have the greatest reputation, but the Socialist Democrats certainly did not convince any of us they really understood where America should be headed.
If you don’t know the reasons specifically and you are only voting for them to “vote against the other”, than you may as well give up your vote because that is all you did. You must train your mind, understand the actions of a person and their past actions, and understand that politicians very rarely change on their own, and if they do change, it was only to get your vote. If you don’t know why you are voting for someone, then you shouldn’t vote. Make sure you do vote but make sure you now why that is your vote. When it comes to the vote, however, 2016 defined someone who was not part of the system. It showed our true Democracy. It showed that the vote had worked. Will it work again? More importantly, will it work for the person you want to be President? Regardless, make sure you vote on November 3, 2020.
