There are times in life where you feel that life has got you down, you have done everything wrong, nothing is going right, and there is no hope for you. You might think that if it were not for bad luck, you would not have any luck at all. Truth is, we all have those days, those periods in our lives, and sometimes the black cloud does not disappear for what seems like months. You wait everyday to hear more bad news because good news hardly seems to ever come. There is another truth in all this: Even if you do not think it or believe it, you are successful.
As long as you continue to strive for success, continue attempting to make changes in your life for the better, and push through the bad, you will eventually get to the good. In life, there is a balance between everything when it comes to good and bad. You cannot have day without night, wake without sleep, hard without soft, success without failure, and certainly failure without success. Everything has its opposite. If you were to balance your life out over time, all the events that have happened in your life, you will probably find that there is a balance, but there is actually a lot of good that has happened, and a lot of not good or not bad that has happened. Balancing everything out, you will probably see that life is mostly just happening to you, and you are just reacting to it. As the saying goes, 90% of life is your reaction to it.
Why are you successful? Honestly, if you are reading this, you have the Internet, so you must have achieved something in your life to be using the technology you are using today, whether you were born into it or acquired it. If you have at least one meal a day or eat something every day, you are definitely successful. If you are currently employed, you are successful. Even if you are unemployed, but utilizing your time and doing something about it, how can you not see that as successful? So you may have lost your job, but every rejection is a new opportunity and everything happens for a reason. Maybe you are meant for more, maybe you need to learn a new skill, maybe you need to do something else in your life, maybe you are not seeing the message you are supposed to be seeing. Whatever the case may be, you are successful as long as you see yourself that way.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, why are you not successful? There is no doubt in my mind or your mind that you could be successful, but are you choosing not to be? Do you fear success or are you just lazy?
There must be some failure in your life in order to achieve some type of success and reward. Meeting failure at first, if not several times, should only drive your ambition, your motivation, and your desire to succeed. If you give up, than you have failed and are not successful, but that will always be your choice of the two you have to make: Succeed or fail. You have the power to make either choice and no one to stop whichever you choose, but you will find success more rewarding, and success will take you much further than failure ever can. Understand that success cannot be without failure and failure is what builds your character for success. If you were to be successful on the first try at everything you do, you would never learn all the lessons you need to learn.
Stop seeing yourself as a failure and realize that you are successful. You have gotten to this point in your life. Whether you want to be grateful to yourself, your family, your friends, your religion, your influences, you have made it this far by doing something to be successful. Keep up the hard work, know that you are on the path of success, and understand that you are successful.
