Trust Is The Most Important Quality In A Person
If there is any rule that the majority of us live by, and any quality that most of us look for in a person, it is trust. The moment you start to hurt us is the moment that trust is lost. When the trust is lost, we don’t know who you are anymore, and we certainly don’t trust you. Trust is the hardest thing to earn back once it is lost.
To become my friend, I must trust you. To become your friend, you must trust me. Trust is the most important thing that can be given and obtained by anyone. Trust is the reason why you are alive and the reason why I am alive, and the reason everyone is alive. Your mother trusted your father when they began dating, having sex, and all throughout marriage. Your father also trusted your mother. We also trust our parents right from the very start. The thing about trust is that it can be easily acquired, as most of us do tend to give the benefit of the doubt, while for others, you must earn our trust. Trust is the very thing all Americans are expected to have on the fateful day that will decide the course of the United States of America in November, every 4 years.
Trust among politicians and even the media is very low and only seems to remain that way every year because in a world of information that is constantly exposed to us, we learn harsh truths very quickly, and we must accept them – and do something about them – or don’t. It is rare that we hear about a government figure doing something really good for the United States. Maybe they are, but it is a well kept secret by the media. There have been many short stories advertised on the side, showing mayors, governors, and congressman actually doing something good for society, but it is least reported on by the major news media networks. What better position for the media than to report on two different worlds: the rich and the poor (poor by definition means anyone low Middle Class to Poverty).
The idea of rich and poor is a reality, as we see it in front of us everyday, but it also gives everyone the “us” and “them” mentality. The majority of society is pre-occupied with those terms, while distracted away from the truth. What if the richest man in the world met the poorest man in the world? What exactly would the two have in common? Would have both learned about the lessons that life has taught them? More importantly, what would they learn from each other? One can only imagine that they both would have similar feelings and thoughts about what life is all about. The one obvious fact is that both are destined toward a fate of death, no matter what.
It is important to earn our trust, but in this case, choosing the wrong person for President to trust will result in even more lost trust. We need a President that we can trust. In the case of listening to the candidates, it is really a matter of who is telling the least amount of lies. Can you look this President in the face and truly trust in what they are saying to you? Can you listen to this President talk and actually understand what they are saying, not just hearing what they want you to hear? For anyone running for President, however, you truly have to be a psychopath or a sociopath.
Remember that it is YOU who will be deciding who the next President is, not just the future of the United States, but the future of the entire world! The pressure is on! Good luck!
